An Enchanting Evening @ Wembley---- Part 2

మన్ మౌజీలు
ప్రతి పార్టీలోనూ ఇలాటి వారొకరు ఉండి తీరుతారు. వీళ్ళను చూస్తే జాలిపడాలో, అసహ్యించుకోవాలో, నవ్వేసుకోవాలో తెలీదు. అసలు నిన్న మాత్రం మొదట ఎంజాయ్ చేసాము, తరవాత తాగున్నాడురొయ్ అని నవ్వుకున్నాము, తరవాత ఎక్కువైంది అని బాధపడ్డాము చివరికి వీడినెవరైనా తీసుకెళ్లిపోతే బావుండు అనుకునేంత దాకా వచ్చాడు. కాని అతను మాత్రం ఫుల్ "ఎంజాయ్" చేసాడు. అల్జీమెర్స్ డిమెన్షియా పేషెంత్స్ గురించి "ప్లెసెంట్లీ డిమెంటెడ్" అంటాము ఎందుకంటే వారికి ఏం జరిగినా ఏమీ గుర్తుండదు. తాగి ఇలా పార్టీల్లో మన్ మౌజీలయే వారికి ఇదోక వరమేమో. పైగా "లోగ్ కహ్తే హై మై షరాబీ హూ" అంటూ తనను తాను సమర్దించుకునే తెలివితేటలూ వాడూనూ....  



సునీతా మీనన్
మ్ .....ఎవరో ఫేమస్ సింగర్లానె ఉంది ఈ సింగర్...ఇప్పుడు గూగులమ్మనడిగితే బానే పేరున్నమ్మాయే అని చెప్పింది. ఎమో నిన్నకు ముందు నాకయితే పరిచయం లేదు. చక్కని ముఖ వర్చస్సు. మంచి స్వరం. విట్నీ హ్యొస్టన్ పాట ఒకటదేదో, ఇదో ఇలాటిదేనో ఇదేనో తెలీదు ఒక అరబిక్ పాట పాడిందీమె. మిగితావన్నీ  హిందీ పాటలే. మన్ మౌజీ గాడికి మొదట అభిమానమనుకుని ఒక పాటను "ఇది మీకోసం" అన్న పాపానికి తనూ, మిగితా మేల్ సింగర్సూ పడ్డ బాధ....ప్చ్....goes with the territory I think. But enjoyed her singing a lot ....more later.




డాక్టర్ సేతూ వారియర్
ఈయన ఓపికకు మెచ్చుకోవాలి. ముజీ భాయ్  తాగి స్టేజీ మీదకు వచ్చి అల్లరి చేసినా చివరికి చేతిలోని మైక్ లాక్కుని "మేరీ సప్నోన్ కీ రాణీ........" పాట  ముగింపు తానిచ్చినా , ఎంత తాగున్నాడో  ఘాటంతా వచ్చేట్టు మోహంలో మొహం పెట్టి ఇబ్బంది పెట్టినా మోహంలో చిరునవ్వు చెరగలేదు. మలయాళీ డాక్టర్ బాబుకు ఎంత ఓపికో (చిన్న పిల్లల డాక్టర్ అదీ పీడియాట్రిక్స్లో  ఇంకేదో సూపర్ స్పెశలైసేషన్ కూడా చేసాడా యే మరి). మంచి గాత్రం. 

రాజేష్ రమన్
బుద్దుగా ముద్దుగా ఉన్నాడు. మంచి స్వరం  ఒక  చోట మాత్రం అందుకోలేకపోయాడు ...ఏమి అందుకోలేకపోయాడో నాకు తెలీదు కాని ఎదో సరిగ్గా లేదు అని  మాత్రం అర్థమయింది.
ఓపిక కొంచం తక్కువ అనుకుంటా అబ్బాయిగారికి మౌజీ భాయ్ ఎక్కువగా ఇబ్బంది పెట్టింది సునీతా మీనన్ ను అయినా ఎక్కువగా భావప్రకటన చేసింది ఈయనగారు :) ఇంకొంచం అనుభవం రావాలేమో ప్రజ(అదే ఈకాలంలోని రాజు)లను భరించాలంటే.

Rainbow Raagas

Being touted as the biggest Indian  band in the UK. The best thing I liked about this band was that the tabla player was superb. So, superb, that.............for the first time in my life...........I asked for something from the singing band. I asked for a tabla encore with the bol, which came unexpectedly as an interlude in one the songs......pch, are bhay e koyee lead singer ke liye whitney Houstan kaa gaane ke liye pharmaayish hai kyaa? Naa yaar they did not do the tabla encore with the bol. But I did enjoy the 30 seconds of pure rhythms cought in the midst of an ocean of drums and vocal dominance......I enjoyed it a lot.

The guy on the left with the tablas is the lucky guy who got my written appreciation. Everybody loves appreciation right? You should have seen the light in his eyes when I gave the pharmaish.......chalo ik kaa din to bana diye :)

See the big traditional drum at the back? They came down the stage and played them, for a racy urdu song..... felt so much like dancing on the dance floor that three of us consultants, two of them being very serius ones were swaying on our dinner chairs so much that our table mates were asking us why we were not on the dance floor :)........... You and me on the dance floor vinod singervelu!!!!!? what say? :)
